Bacteriostatic Water for reconstitution of research projects such as peptides. Also known as BAC water for short.
This is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, deionized water that contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol (9 mg/ml) added as a bacteriostatic preservative.
Bacteriostatic water can be used multiple times up to 28 days once opened.
STORAGE
Store lyophilized peptide in a cool, dry place away from direct light (stable 3–4 months unrefrigerated). After reconstitution, refrigerate at 2–8°C for up to 30 days, or freeze at −80°C for long-term storage.
